the yellow haired flowers are so foolish
always trying to come when it�s not their time
and they kill themselves trying to renew their lives
when they�re covered in ice and frozen inside

the stupid daffodils are trying to grow up
they should know by now that it�s not their time
they always fall for the sky�s petty fake outs
so they end up dying and frozen inside

I think I�d like to be a black eyed susan
they�re the only ones who have any sense
they had their discipline beaten into them
but they�re fine and they wait until their time
to come and they survive
