when i was little,
i used to collect pill boxes.
my mum collected cookie jars.
my dad collected money.

i was addicted to pills.
my mum is obsessed with weight and image.
my dad has no money management skills.

now that we've purged our collections,
(my dad and i got fat)
(my mom got tainted by money)
(i turned against money)
(both are heavily medicated)
i wonder what i shall collect.
I should like to steal the hearts of young men
but i think i am not in my prime for that.
perhaps i could collect warm bodies to hold me.
