and it gives me great comfort to read
about Maddie and Mr. B
and Tow and MLA and Diamond Eyes and even Neil

because what I articulated about them
feels, still, so real, like how I feel about you
so there's hope
that I'll pull through
not from feeling like I do
but that my focus will shift off you
